Who is the voice of the LORD GOD Almighty? Jesus Christ!
A brief study on Christology: is the branch of theology concerned with the study of the person, nature, and work of Jesus Christ.
Hypostatic union – Two natures (divine and human) in one person.
But more specific, how these truths are preserved and most supported by the King James Bible!
Genesis 3:8 (KJB) And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. |
1 Corinthians 10:4 (KJB) And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. |
I believe the eternal Word has always been the Mediator between God’s creation; i.e. man and God. Who or what is the eternal Word? The 2nd member in the divine counsel of the Trinity!
1 John 5:7 (KJB) For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
When the time came for the Word to descend into that virgin’s womb to fulfill the plan of redemption for the souls of man as promised from Eden (Genesis 3:15, Galatians 4); He (The Word) did not possess a human nature prior to that moment of incarnation. After the Word was made flesh (John 1), He has since possessed a dual nature, i.e. both divine and human.
According to the scriptures:
John 14:6 (KJB) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
1 Timothy 2:5 (KJB) For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
I hereby propose that throughout the entirety of the Old Testament scriptures, whensoever we read of the appearance of the LORD on earth speaking to man, it was the eternal Word. The Word has always served in a Mediatory capacity between God the Father and His creation; so as to prevent God the Father from being exposed to the fallen nature of man, after He sinned (Habakkuk 1:13).
Thus, the voice of the LORD GOD that walked in the garden of Eden in Genesis 2-3, was the eternal Word, the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.
Consider the following on this point:
John 1:3 (KJB) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. |
“…his dear Son”- Colossians 1:13 Colossians 1:16 (KJB) For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: |
With that truth in mind, read the following Old Testament passages of scriptures to foresee the future of God’s redemptive plan for the restoration of the nation of Israel, through the voice of the LORD GOD; i.e. the Lord Jesus Christ! Also, see how at the same time throughout history, the people were disobedient (generally speaking, with the exception of few individuals throughout time) who were obedient to the Lord Jesus, the voice of God! Enjoy!

Great verse comparison of The Voice of the LORD GOD Almighty, which is His Son the Lord Jesus Christ:
Deuteronomy 30:20 (KJB) That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
